Location: Al-Mansor/Baghdad
Plot Size: 600m2.
This is a makeover of an existing house. The owners had seen one of our previous jobs and decided they wanted a similar one done on there house.
The idea was to redesign the front part of the house completely, change the front bedroom into a living room and add an exterior and spiral staircase to it and then design a second floor for the part that was independent of the rest of the house. The plot is more than 850m2 and the front is over 23m. This gave us a lot of room to design the facade and the result was a nice modern look.
The project
is still under construction mainly being hampered by the continuing rise in cost
of labor and material after the end of the war.
