Abu Ridha Building
Client: Abu Ridha.
Description: Commercial Building.
Location: Al-Amiriyah, Baghdad.
Size of plot: 400 m2.
Status: Under construction.
The client approached us asking for a redesign of a structure which he owned and which he wanted finished on modern aesthetic lines. The ground floor was maintained as individual shops, while the upper floor was rearranged as four separate offices. The entrance, stairs and facade were also redesigned.
The work was stoped immediately before the war. Some damage became the building when a nearby school containing explosives was bombed. It has not resumed yet.
