Company Overview
The CONTEMPORARY BUILDING COMPANY (C Building)
was formally established in 1998 as the contracting branch of the Bureau
of Contemporary Design (BCD). A well established and highly reputable design
firm. The new company took over th
e contacting work being supervised by BCD
as well as several other new projects. The reputation of BCD
coupled with a well selected highly qualified staff, as well as the quality of
the end product, quickly established C Building among the leaders of
private contracting companies. The company now enjoys a reputations for
technical excellence, honesty and quality.
The engineering and design staff have
been
carefully selected for academic excellence, experience, and the ability to adapt
to the fast changing world of design and building. Some of the staff are
considered to be the best in the country especially in the fields of
architectural design and computer applications of building related programs.
This includes CAD and modeling. The primary objectives of the company are
to produce well designed contemporary buildings with advanced specifications and
the quality to match.
Present staff include a design team of thirty architects, civil, electrical and mechanical engineers. Their qualifications range from BSc's to MSc's, and one PhD in architecture.
The on site staff include ten engineers and well over 200 highly qualified building professionals in various fields from brick layers to painters.
The company also has its own metal workshop and concrete formwork. Around 20 contracting projects have been completed which include residential, commercial, military, and hotel buildings. There are also 17 projects under construction, and more than twenty being designed.
